Howard and Jake Newton of Staines Town became the club's first serving players to become full internationals over the weekend, when they appeared for their father's homeland, Guyana.
Having travelled to the South American country to take part in the training camp the previous Wednesday, the pair were included in the starting line-up for Guyana's match against one of the top Caribbean nations, Cuba, played at the GCC, Georgetown, a game which ended in a very creditable 0-0 draw.
