Corinthian Casuals assistant boss Keith Holloway insisted safety is within his side's grasp after they edged a point closer to Ryman Division One South survival on Saturday.

Their 0-0 draw at Walton Casuals hoisted them eight points clear of the drop.

And with games against all their fellow strugglers on the horizon, Holloway is confident of staying up.

He said: "We still have to play all the sides at the bottom so it really is in our own hands.

"With Molesey and Horsham YMCA coming up, if we get something out of those games we should be home and dry.

"It is all well and good to talk about it but if we lose those games we are back in trouble so we have to be on guard.

"If both teams had played without a keeper I still think it would have finished 0-0.

"But for us that is three clean sheets in four games and we are proving difficult to beat."

Despite Casuals' improving backline, they are still suffering problems in front of goal.

And Holloway revealed that would be worked on ahead of Saturday's visit of Dulwich Hamlet.

He added: "Forwards often need a kiss and a cuddle to keep them going.

"They are good players but they need to relax a bit in front of goal."
