A 26-year-old man from New Addington has completed what is thought to be the world's biggest Post-it note collage.

Adrian Wallett set himself the challenge last year and invited artists from around the planet to send him messages for his piece.

I really like the idea that I have united artists from all over the world and created a mammoth work. "

The work was completed last week and was on show at the United Reform Church Hall in Sanderstead Hill.

The collage is more than one sq m and features 186 Post-it notes from people including former children's TV presenter Timmy Mallett.

Adrian said: "I am very proud of my completed collage. I really like the idea that I have united artists from all over the world and created a mammoth work.

"The art on show is so varied and original and I feel the finished effect really promotes unity between styles of art."

The collage will soon be sold on the internet auction site eBay and all proceeds will be donated to the Children's Society.
