The GP Patient Survey has revealed how doctor’s surgeries in Croydon were rated for 2023.

Patients have had their say on the service their GP provides in an annual survey carried out by the NHS.

The survey includes categories such as how easy it is to get an appointment, whether appointments are in person, and how helpful the receptionists are.

We’ve searched through the results of the 36 GP surgeries in Croydon to find the best and worst rated surgeries for overall experience.

There was only one GP with an overall rating of over 90 per cent and that is Selsdon Park Medical Practice on Addington Road with 95 per cent.

However, there were numerous other GP practices following closely behind.

We have compiled a list of the GP surgeries in Croydon where customer satisfaction is over 80 per cent.

  • Birdhurst Medical Practice – 81 per cent

The GP surgeries in Croydon with the lowest ratings (an overall satisfaction rate of under 70 per cent) are:

  • Violet Lane Medical Practice – 69 per cent
  • Whitehorse Practice – 59 per cent
  • Broom Road Medical Practice – 69 per cent
  • Hartland Way Surgery – 68 per cent
  • Friends Road Medical Practice – 57 per cent
  • Edridge Road Community Health Centre – 63 per cent
  • Greenside Group Practice – 66 per cent
  • Thornton Road & Valley Park Surgery – 64 per cent
  • East Croydon Medical Centre – 58 per cent
