Police are hunting for a man who escaped from the scene of a car crash in Ashford this morning.
Police were called at 9.24am to reports that a grey Toyota Hilux had left the road and crashed through a garden wall colliding with a red Toyota Corolla and a telegraph pole in Clockhouse Lane.
The driver of the crashed vehicle ran from the scene in the direction of Reedsfield Road.
Surrey Police deployed the police helicopter and a dog unit to search for the driver but he has not yet been found.
He is described as white, in his 20s, with dark curly hair and was wearing a light blue T-shirt and dark baggy shorts.
Police believe he is likely to have been injured in the collision. No other people were hurt.
