Murder charges are to be dropped against a couple accused of killing a man in a row over a supermarket queue, the Old Bailey heard today.
Tony Virasami, 38, and his partner Antoinette Richardson, 37, will face manslaughter charges instead at a hearing on November 3, prosecutor Michael Worsley QC said.
Virasami and Richardson, both of Catford, were arrested after shopper Kevin Tripp, 57, died in Sainsbury's in Colliers Wood in June.
