Four Croydon charities have been awarded a share of £642,000 in Lottery grants across London.
Friends of Foxley Wood in Croydon will receive £10,000 to encourage more visitors to take advantage of its 19 acres of ancient woodland.
Making Music is set for a £2,510 boost to run a series of music and movement workshops for elderly people across Croydon.
Other projects in Croydon receiving Lottery funding are the Family Centre Fieldway New Addington, awarded £8,000 to run a weekly arts project for local children, parents and carers, and Woodside Children's Centre and Infant School, given £8,089 to provide a sports after-school club.
The grants form part of Awards for All, a scheme run by the Big Lottery Fund which gives money to good causes.
