Home Office laptop stolen in Lunar House burglary

An official Home Office laptop was stolen from an immigration office in Croydon, police confirmed today.

The computer was taken during a burglary at Lunar House in Wellesley Road, which handles immigrant application forms.

Croydon CID are still investigating the theft, which was reported at 8.40am on Friday, November 14.

No arrests have been made and the laptop has not been recovered, but a Home Office source said it did did not contain personal or sensitive data.

A spokesman said he could not comment on an ongoing police investigation.

I thought the Home office would be the most secure office in Croydon. Obviously not.

I hope they don't blame the asylum seekers for this.

This does not surprise me at Lunar House,they had offical material stolen before by dishonest staff working there

We've already had 'a weapon a day siezed at Lunar Hse' Now they've had a laptop pinched from there - let's all hope and pray there's nothing on this laptop that could enable even more people to fiddle the chaotic immigration system.

Nastymrstom does not like 'our' flag or 'our' poppies for some odd reason and also wants millions of immigrants to come here for some strange reason... why doesn't she go to a country she feels happy with and leave us alone eh ?
