Six iconic images of Kate Moss by the urban graffiti artists Banksy are expected to fetch up to £150,000 when they go up for auction next week.
The prints of the Croydon-born supermodel, based on artist Andy Warhol’s famous image of blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe, were produced in a limited edition of 20 in six different colours.
Most were sold individually making this complete set of prints considered rare and highly collectable.
They are up for sale at auction house Bonhams on February 24, along with other Banksy works as part of their Urban Art Sale.
Gareth Williams, head of Bonhams' urban art department says: "The Urban Art market remains buoyant judging by the interest this sale has aroused once more and we are pleased to continue to offer significant works by the most important artists in this field."
The auction offers a variety of Urban artists whose works have done well at previous Bonhams sales.
