Comets Steel Band busked while playgroup volunteers collected 400 from Croydon shoppers on Saturday. COPG is the band's sponsor's Met police civilian social club chosen charity for this year. Band member Gina Sheridan said: "We had great fun. We'd like to say a big thank you to all the Croydon shoppers"
