Despite an apology from EDF Energy, Surbiton is still suffering powercuts, according to a community website.
The power went out for about 10 hours on Sunday night in the Berrylands area, according to surbiton.com.
The website said: “We seem to have outages almost weekly somewhere in the borough. Just like the three day week we will all be back to the good old wartime spirit soon.
“New Labour wants us to forget the current disasters it inflicts on us and a good old community crisis ticks all the boxes for ‘diversity and inclusion’.”
Residents and businesses complained just weeks ago about a bout of power cuts in the Douglas Road area, which left one 90-year-old unable to get to bed because her stairlift lost power.
Eileen Norman, 84, said she was terrified when her lights went out on three consecutive days but said she has not been affected by the latest outages.
EDF Energy said their engineers would continue to monitor the situation and put the power failures down to lower than normal electricity supplies.
A letter sent to Ms Norman said that a new link box was due to be fitted to split up the power in the area.
