The Old Bailey trial of a man accused of murdering his wife, whose decomposing body was found in a green wheelie bin outside their Cobham home, has been postponed.
Peter Wallner, 34, has denied murdering his South African wife Melanie Wallner, 30, who was last seen in June 2006.
But the former chef at Woodlands Park Hotel, near Leatherhead, has admitted preventing the lawful burial of her body.
Her body is alleged to have been kept hidden for several years in a freezer in their garden shed.
The trial at the Old Bailey was due to begin on November 30, but a pre-trial review today postponed the trial to May 10.
