A man arrested on suspicion of the murder of Larry Malone in West Norwood has been bailed.

The 25-year-old was yesterday arrested then bailed pending further enquiries.

Mr Malone, 24, was shot dead through a window as he stood in the front room of his auntie's house in Harpenden Road kust before 1am on Thursday, September 3.

A postmortem examination gave cause of death as a single gunshot wound to the head.

Police believe the vicitm was in the front room of the ground floor flat with others when the shots were fired.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Tony Boughton from Trident, the Met's specialist black on black gun crime unit, said: "At this early stage I have no suspect descriptions. I am keeping an open mind as to any motive.
