Woman and two children escape Crystal Palace blaze
A woman and two children escaped a fire in a Crystal Palace flat on Tuesday.
They fled the flat in College Road before fire crews arrived at 10.13am.
Four fire engines and about 20 firefighters battled the blaze, which damaged half of the groundfloor flat in College Road.
Crews from West Norwood, Forest Hill, Wimbledon and Norbury fire stations all fought to get the fire under control by 10.46am.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
