Funny how attitude and opinion has shifted towards Banks during the past 12 months, probably since the Northern Rock scandal. Years ago these institutions were viewed as a trustworthy haven for your savings and deposits and even to obtain a loan or mortgage. This may not be the case now though as we are reportedly crawling ourselves out of recession. Consumers are finally realising the importance of impartial advice offered by Independent Mortgage Brokers, something that banks cannot provide. Thomas Jefferson once said "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies". I wonder if he knew how true his words were set to become?
