A environmental campaigner from Streatham is in Copenhagen for the UN’s climate change conference this week.

Sam Dickason, 33, is one of five climate change activist recruited by the Oxfam south-east office in August, who are joining thousands of politicians, delegates, journalists and other campaigners in Denmark.

Mr Dickason said: “As Oxfam and many other charities understand, climate change is now the biggest threat to human welfare, especially for the most vulnerable people in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

World leaders have an opportunity to help us stop this catastrophe at the Copenhagen climate talks. But without public pressure, those talks will fail.”
