New Romantic idol Tony Hadley signed copies of his autobiography for excited fans yesterday in Waterstone's book store The former Spandau Ballet frontman was swamped by well-wishers as he promoted his new book To Cut a Long Story Short at the book shop in Croydon's Whitgift Centre.
The singer's career was revived last year when he won the ITV celebrity programme Reborn in the USA. He also had a sell-out tour with Peter Cox from Go West, which saw Fairfield selling standing room in the Concert Hall for their February date in town.
Hadley's new book covers his bitter legal wrangle with fellow Spandau Ballet member Gary Kemp and the highs and lows of his 20-year music career.
