Cinema chain Vue is keeping a watchful eye on audiences by using night vision goggles to catch people making illegal video copies of films on the big screen.
The goggles are being used by staff at every showing of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as part of a two-week trial.
At the moment staff are only using the goggles during screenings of the latest Harry Potter film because of its popularity.
The goggles are being used by staff at both of Vue's cinemas in Purley Way and at the Grants complex in Croydon.
