Stars of The Bill on the run for good cause
Stars of police drama The Bill hit the streets of Colliers Wood in aid of charity event Sport Relief.
Seven actors tackled a run around their headquarters at Sun Hill police station - which is actually a set on an industrial estate in Deer Park Road - to raise money for the good cause.
The actors who ran a mile were Sam Callis, Micah Balfour, Ben Richards, John Bowler, Rhea Bailey, Jason Barnett-Plays and Alex Walkinshaw. Walkinshaw said: “It’s brilliant so many of the cast got involved. We’re usually found chasing criminals so it was nice to be running for a different reason.”
Sport Relief, which raises money for charities in Britain and abroad, will take place across the country from March 19 to 21.
