Coulsdon College was transformed last Tuesday into a training ground for raw recruits when members of the British armed forces put students through their paces.
The college in Placehouse Lane, Old Coulsdon, invited members of the army to set students a series of challenges designed to teach them team working skills and bring new classmates together.
Students were put through their paces by Lance Corporal Sean Blackburn who had them swap text books and classrooms for hard hats and an assault course.
