Old Mid-Whitgiftians moved up to fourth place in the league with a resounding win against Sidcup on Saturday.

Skipper Mark Macaskill opened the scoring with a penalty and seven minutes later Rob Clarke touched down for a try.

The second half started at a fast pace, and with just two minutes gone, Mids' David Stanton came in from the right touchline to run in under the posts to score. Macaskill converted.

Neil Bell charged down a clearance attempt and scored to increase the Mids total, Jon Addo scored seconds later, and then the kicker scored his own try after picking the ball up at the back of a set scrum and charging over.

Stanton then scored his second try to complete the rout.
