Addiscombe's rollercoaster season continued with their best performance in several weeks against HAC.
The visitors took the lead with a clever deflection from their first attack, but Addiscombe responded well and Jones forced home a penalty corner at the fourth attempt.
But Addiscombe then gifted the lead back to HAC to give the visitors a half time lead.
HAC increased their lead further after the break, but man of the match Buchanan dragged his team back into the game.
He started the passing move that saw Wise lob a stranded keeper to make it 3-2, before Wray deflected in a penalty corner for the equaliser.
The hosts then took a deserved lead with a second from Wise, which was followed by a brace from Buchanan to seal the points.
