The council is advising pubs, clubs and night caf owners to start getting ready for new licensing laws coming into effect in the new year.
The Licensing Act 2003 makes Croydon Council responsible for granting all liquor, entertainment and late night refreshment licences in the borough. From February 7 licensees will have six months to swap their existing licence for new ones issued with the same conditions.
