Generous sixth form students and staff at Riddlesdown High School presented £350 worth of Christmas presents to the charity Women's Aid last Wednesday.
The gifts will go to the children of women who have been victims of domestic violence.
The students raised money through collections and two sponsored plays A Man's World and We're Still Here which were written and produced by A-level students with the help of tutor Kate Johnson.
Headteacher David Dibbs said: "I am absolutely thrilled with the children's enthusiasm in raising such a great amount of money for such a worthy cause."
