Five-year-old Callum Gordon obviously knows how to use his loaf.
The youngster is the toast of his class after beating competition from 2,000 children across London and the south-east to create a new sandwich for bakery Greggs.
The Addiscombe schoolboy entered Greggs' school sandwich filling challenge as part of his design and technology lessons.
But it was Callum's sandwich, made from salami, cheese and cucumber on brown bread that won. It will now go on sale at Croydon's High Street branch of the bakers.
Callum also won £1,000 of design and technology equipment for his school, plus a £20 book token and a trophy.
