The Younger Generation Theatre Group (YGTG) will be holding auditions for its Britain at it's Best show at the Ashcroft Theatre, Fairfield, in March.
The production will be staged at the beginning of September. This will be the 17th YGTG show and the theme centres on songs and music either written by British composers or made famous by British singers.
Auditions are open to anyone aged 10-16. Even if children only want to do dialogue they must be prepared to move to music and take part in the movement part of the audition.
There will be a separate section for modern, tap and ballet dancing.
Stage school experience is not essential but enthusiasm and dedication is vital.
If you pass the audition there is a subscription fee of £60 that covers the cost of rehearsals and show costumes.
For further information and audition forms, send a large stamped addressed envelope to Mrs Lyn Lillico, 63a Brighton Road, South Croydon, CR2 6EE, or email diane.rex@blueyonder for a downloadable form.
