And now the soundtrack from the greed is good' decade has been turned into a new musical Boogie Nights 2, a sequel to the successful 70s show Boogie Nights, that comes to the New Wimbledon Theatre from February 14-19.
It follows the continuing adventures of Roddy O'Neill and his gang 10 years on from when we last saw them.
Flares have been swapped for leg warmers and platform shoes for stilettos in the show that stars David Essex, former EastEnders star Sophie Lawrence and Scott Robinson from boy band 5ive.
Funny, sentimental, fast- paced and with a twist in the tale, Boogie Nights 2 is everything about the 80s that you loved, and loved to hate.
