If Whyteleafe do make the play-offs then they will remember this much-needed win against high flyers Horsham.

The Leafe won this important home fixture 1-0 and in doing so denied the Sussex side a chance of automatic promotion.

The game was by no means a classic but with so much at stake it was never going to be. The Leafe had the better of the exchanges and deserved their win. The Leafe have to win their last three games and hope that others lose theirs but who knows in football what might happen.

Croydon FC look certain now to have lost their fight for survival as they were defeated at home to a strong Leatherhead side 3-1.

The Trams have to win their last three games and Newport have to lose their last three games or the Trams are down.

Croydon Athletic are now playing out what can only be described as a disappointing season and that was reflected in their 1-1 home draw with Banstead Athletic.

Dulwich Hamlet managed a draw at home to Molesey 1-1; scorer for Dulwich Hamlet was Luke Cornwall who equalised five minutes from time cancelling out a Mark Longley goal for the visitors. But to be fair the Hamlet were still reeling from their midweek London Senior Cup semi-final defeat against Wingate and Finchley 2-1.

Well done to AFC Wimbledon who clinched the Division One Championship with a 1-0 home win over Met Police. The scorer for the Dons was Shane Smeltz after eight minutes – a goal that remained the difference between the teams for the remaining 80 minutes. AFC also made it through to the Surrey Senior Cup final when they beat Sutton United in midweek.

They will now face strong rivals Walton and Hersham in the final at Woking.
