An 18-year-old student has returned home after a three-month work placement in Finland.
Ben Buxton, from Croydon, was one of 20 students selected from across the UK to take part in the scheme run by engineering charity the Smallpeice Trust.
Before travelling abroad, Ben, who is starting an engineering degree at Cambridge University later this year, spent a week on a team building exercise in Dartmoor, followed by three months' engineering study.
There are still places left on the charity's 2005/06 placement. For further details visit www.smallpeicetrust.org.uk or call 01926 333200.
