Warlingham 179-9
Maori Oxshott 145

Warlingham celebrated their fifth win of the season at Church Lane on Saturday.

After losing the toss, the hosts batted first with Louw hitting some aggressive boundaries.

Louw was caught behind off Thompson having contributed 26, and the same bowler dismissed Greg Atherstone for three, and then Hitesh Patel for 15. Field then added 37 with Nishan Naidoo (16), before Shattock dismissed them both in quick succession.

Kieron White and Ian Pizzey then fell to Murphy as they were kept in the game by a fine innings by number nine Gerard Pretorius, who made a hard hitting 34 under pressure, to enable a declaration on 179 for 9 after 51 overs.

In reply, Maori added a quick 61, but Mahesh Amin and Hitesh Patel stemmed the flow of runs taking the first wicket.

Off spinner Louw then picked up two crucial wickets, which signalled the collapse as Warlingham ran out winners to pull further away from safety.
