I write about the lack of facilities at East Croydon station. My husband has breathing difficulties and rail journeys using this station are now impossible for him due to his inability to walk up the steep slopes off the platforms.
This is an important rail station and one can only hope that, if this proposed refurbishment goes ahead, it will not be another facelift' but it will include improved facilities for passengers, including the provision of suitable access and egress for all travellers, including the disabled and those with special needs.
