May 1, 2006. Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. Families are in for a treat on Sundays throughout May and June when they can transform themselves at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT), Arundel into investigators of a watery kind!

The beautiful and sustainable thatched education building will set the scene for our wetland sleuths to follow a series of exciting tasks and activities, discovering the watery world of ponds and their inhabitants.

If that has wetted the appetite, don't miss out on exploring the mysterious depths by pond dipping at the Pond Explorer. Investigating creatures in the pond is a timeless activity that has captured the imagination of people for generations.

Sarah Fraser, Arundel Learning Officer says "Ask your Grandma, she will have tales of wading knee deep in a stream, jam jar in hand! We are very proud here at WWT to be able to give children the opportunity to discover wetlands whilst having great fun, within a safe environment"

If you need to relax after all that excitement, take an exclusive boat safari around the new Wetlands Discovery area. Fed by Arundel's pristine chalk springs, the 3 hectares of new wetlands offer visitors a genuine duck's eye view of painstakingly recreated habitats.

All of these activities are included in the admission price.

Family Sundays runs from 1pm-4.30pm, all other activities run between 11am 4.30pm.
