Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a bookmakers in Croydon during which staff were threatened with a knife.
On Saturday, April 22, at around 2.30pm a man entered the William Hill shop in Wickham Road. He followed the manager behind the counter, demanding money and threatened him and a female cashier with a large black-handled knife.
After being handed some cash the man then ran out of the shop. Police described him as black, approximately 30 years old, 5ft 6in and of stocky build. He was wearing a baseball cap, black jacket and blue jeans.
