The exceptionally gifted, uber-cool Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra return to Fairfield Concert Hall.

Julian Miles Holland was born in 1958 and as a young lad showed a flare for the piano.

At school he studied music theory and harmony and in his teens he could be seen playing in the pubs around south London.

He formed the band Squeeze with Chris Difford and Glen Tilbrook. In their early days Squeeze played at the old Greyhound pub in Croydon in 1976 and the Red Deer, South Croydon, in 1977. The band's hits included Up The Junction and Cool For Cats.

He has performed with artists from the music world across the globe, from Robbie Williams to Dionne Warwick. His show Later with Jools Holland is hugely popular and his New Year's Eve television show is a must for stay at home celebrators.
