With news that 60 per cent of the population make no arrangements for their death, Croydon Council's bereavement service has organised a free seminar to inform people of their funeral rights.
The seminar will cover topics from having a funeral that is inexpensive or green, the ins and outs of religious and secular ceremonies to how to arrange a funeral without a director and donating your body to medical science.
The seminar which is open to the general public and professionals who deal with bereavement issues will take place at the West Chapel, Croydon Crematorium, Mitcham Road, Croydon, between 2pm and 5pm next Tuesday.
To attend call 020 8684 3877.
