House of Fraser is offering shoppers the chance to have a state of the art body scan and shape analysis as part of Croydon’s annual fashion festival.

The body scanner takes hundreds of accurate measurements in a few seconds and in complete privacy. No lasers or x-rays are used and it is completely safe.

Special stylists will then discuss the results with each customer and look at the new and exclusive collections that are on trend for spring which suit their body shape.

Shoppers can book a special scanning appointment in advance through the personal shopper in store or call 020 8603 1600.

Appointments are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There is a £10 booking fee to secure the appointment, which is redeemable against any purchases in store.

House of Fraser will refund the £10 booking fee onto a standard gift card if the customer does not find anything they want to buy so there is no obligation to spend on the day.

Centrale will also be offering a range of activities to celebrate the Croydon Fashion Festival.

The scan will be available on Friday April 23 between 10am and 7pm and Saturday, April 24, between 9am and 7pm.

Centrale will be buzzing with other events during the festival as well including Red Carpet Style – a two-day fashion event of catwalk shows and one-to-one advice for shoppers.

Marketing manager Tina Lad-Madden said: “Shoppers should look out for the famous films that have inspired our catwalk looks.

“There will also be one-on-one styling advice which is a great opportunity for anyone in a style rut. Our central atrium is always buzzing with energy when we put on these spectacular catwalk shows, so it’s not to be missed.”
