A Purley Oaks resident is trying to knit her community together with a Big Lunch on July 18.
Charlotte Crutchley, 30, who moved to Purley Oaks two and half years ago from Brighton, said: “Purley Oaks residents are friendly and helpful. But the two main roads, Sanderstead and Brighton, cut across the area, making it hard for the community to stay tight.”
“Purley Oaks already has many community activities but I want to organize an event that integrates people across age groups and professions.”
