A man has been charged with murdering upcoming rap artist Carl Beatson Asiedu outside a nightclub last year.
Junior Ademujimi-Falade, 19, of Landor House, Elmington Estate, Camberwell, was charged with the murder of Carl Beatson Asiedu and with violent disorder.
Carl, from Norbury, was fatally stabbed after performing at the Club Life nightclub in Kennington in the early hours of Saturday, August 1.
The 19-year-old’s body was discovered in the back of a car which had been pulled over in Baylis Road after it ran a red light.
The rapper, known as Charmz, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ademujimi-Falade appeared in custody via virtual court at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court today (Monday) and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, July 28.
