The Croydon Food Festival treated residents to a variety of culinary delights over the weekend.

Croydon town centre hosted the third annual food festival, offering cooking demonstrations, dedicated market stalls and information from local bee keepers.

The Girl Guides, who originated in Crystal Palace 100 years ago celebrated its anniversary this year and signed up to take part in some of the cooking demonstrations.

More than 7,000 people attended the event and took home free festival goodie bags from festival organisers, Croydon Town Centre BID's stall.

Krispy Kreme joined in the festival with a special doughnut sample car and Croydon’s restaurants such as Wagamama and retailers like House of Fraser and Clas Ohlson showcased their cookware selections, right through to the very best local food producers such as Indulgence Confectionery and amazing cupcakes from The Very English Baker.
