Police are hunting a dognapper who took a lurcher named ‘Clooney’.

The two year old golden-coloured pooch was stolen after being tied outside Londis in London Road, Hackbridge on Tuesday.

A white male teenager was seen to take the dog to a waiting vehicle at around 3.25pm which may have been an open topped truck or transit type vehicle.

The partial registration is thought to have included the numbers and letters M31 BLT.

Another white male teenager was seen waiting inside the vehicle before they drove away.

One boy is described as 15-16 years old, 5ft tall with blond highlights in his hair.

The other boy is older , thought to be 17-18 and about 5ft 5in tall with dark brown hair and a goaty beard.

Both boys were wearing blue tops, grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
