Dozens of aspiring radio stars battled it out for the chance to become Kiss FM’s next presenter during the station’s first series of live auditions.
Croydon-born Kiss presenter Rickie Haywood-Williams ran the rule over the wannabe DJs during the event at the Whitgift Centre on January 29.
The winning five entrants will go head to head against competitors from White City, Thurrock and central London in a gauntlet of trials and challenges to be named the Kiss Chosen One.
Programme director Andy Roberts, who joined Mr Haywood-Williams to judge on the day, said: ”It's always important for us to grow our own talent and to offer new opportunities to our listeners.
“The Kiss Chosen One is a great chance for someone to get a head start in our industry on one of the most listened and watched media brands in the UK.”
