Palace fans must have been delighted with the point at Watford on Tuesday as it meant that they have moved out of the relegation zone.
The Eagles are now 5-4 to be relegated and 4-7 to stay up, but Dougie Freedman knows full well that this will be a prolonged battle and could well go to the wire.
Up next are Middlesbrough on Saturday and this one is difficult to call.
Boro are on a decent run at the moment, but Palace at 7-4 and Boro at 8-5 both look unappealing.
We are 23-10 on the draw and that does look a bet.
It will be Palace’s fourth in a row. It’s good to see Palace have bagged James Vaughan for the rest of the season.
The lad is a real star, and their chances of getting out of trouble look brighter with him on board.
