Dear Editor, The proposed regeneration work on the Felnex Trading Estate site at Hackbridge is a great news.. The plans will create jobs in the shops and offices and much needed homes for the area and, just as importantly, if the scheme goes ahead there will a significant upgrade in landscape and facilities in a part of Sutton that has struggled for funding down over recent years.
In the current economic atmosphere all new regeneration work is of course a challenge to get up and running but I welcome the willingness of the developers to show their faith in Sutton with such a significant proposal. I look forward the plans coming to the GLA for the Mayor’s consideration.
