Oxshott Village Sports Club has announced the sixth winner of their volunteer of the year award.
David Parry won the glass trophy, sponsored by Mundays Solicitors, for his efforts in running the Tennis Tournament.
Mr Parry, who received his award at the club’s 85th Annual General Meeting, said: “I am very proud to receive this award and it is always a pleasure to help out the club”.
Bob Gaston, Manager of the Oxshott Village Sports Club said: “We have had a long association with Mundays and they have supported the Club for many years, including helping us with coaching among other things.
Nick Atkins at Mundays Solicitors said: "It brings us great pleasure to play a part in recognising the priceless effort of volunteers such as David Parry."
