Sutton Runner's 10Km takes place on sunday 1st May 2011 at Beddington Park in support of the British Heart Foundation and the Royal Marsden. http://www.suttonrunners.org/events/2011-05-01.

We had a busy weekend of it with no less than 13 club members participating in the Brighton Marathon on a warm Sunday last. First back from the club was Graham Miller in a timeof 3h 16m 28s. New marathon PBs were had by Scott Bartley, John James and Barry Walden. ( Full Results below ).

In the Thames Towpath 10 mile event on Sunday we had Steven Barber back for us in a swift 65m 18s to finish in 32nd place follwed by Tim McIntyre in 66m 02s in 48th place and Martin Hunt in 68m 52s. Vicky Foad and Andrea Francis both managed to get under the 75 mins mark. Additionally Martin Hunt ran the previous day in a Richmond Park 5Km event and finished in 20m 02s and 2nd overall. At the parkruns this weekend we had runners from the club at Banstead where Kevin Lewis finished 9th overall with a new PB of 18m 35s: we also saw members in parkruns at Roundshaw, Wimbledon, Bushy and a brand new event at Pymmes Park in Edmonton north London. ( Full Results below ).
