A man has been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old shot dead on an estate.
Raymond Andes, 39, of Plummer Road, Clapham Park, appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murder of Isaiah Bovell.
Mr Bovell was shot dead in broad daylight in Clapham Park on Thursday morning.
Police were called to the incident in a garden near Plummer Road, off Poynders Road, Clapham, at about 11.15am.
A post-mortem examination yesterday gave cause of death as shotgun wounds to the head.
Mr Andes was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, April 19.
A 27-year-old woman arrested in connection with the killing has been released without further action.
