A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a man after an assault in Coulsdon.
Peter James Game 32, of Empire Square, SE1, was charged yesterday evening following the death of the 35-year-old Paul Coleman, of Wallington.
He will appear at Greenwich Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning.
Mr Coleman was assaulted in St Andrews Road, Coulsdon, following an argument at 3.30ham on Sunday August 14.
Police and London Ambulance Service attended and he was taken to south London hospital with a head injury.
Mr Coleman was pronounced dead at 5.25pm yesterday.
A post-mortem examination is yet to be scheduled.
Next of kin have been informed and although formal ID is yet to occur, officers are satisfied the victim is Paul Coleman, 35, of Royston Avenue, Wallington.
Two men, aged 32 years and 23 years, were arrested in connection with the assault. The 23-year-old was released with no further action and Mr Game was subsequently charged with murder.
This incident is not believed to be linked to the disorder taking place in London.
