Police released CCTV images of people they want to talk to in connection with disturbances in Sutton Town Centre on August 8.

The images are just some of those captured by CCTV in the area at the time of the disturbances, when bottles were thrown at police and yobs tried to break in and vandalise several shops.

Sutton Police and Sutton Council have about 80 cameras stationed around the borough.

Officers from the homicide and Serious Crime Command, based at Sutton police station, have been helping officers trawl through footage to identify those responsible for the damage.

Sutton Borough Commander, detective chief superintendent Guy Ferguson, said: "We are absolutely confident that we will be able to identify and catch all those responsible for the violent disorder on that night."

"Our message for anyone who was involved in the violent disorder that night is; we are coming for you."

Police have already carried out a series of raids to arrest people identified in CCTV, including a number of raids on the Roundshaw estate.
