People wandering through the grounds of Nonsuch Park have been met with what appears to be a old man's face on the side of a tree.
The tree, which can be found yards from Nonsuch Mansion, has been said to resemble former Nonsuch Palace resident King Henry VIII, while others have said it resembles Treebeard from JR Tolkiens Lord of the Rings.
David Tribe, who spotted the tree, said: "I was walking through the park last Sunday and had veered slightly off the beaten track, when in the afternoon light, my wife said she saw a face in the tree.
"And on closer inspection, I agreed, although my son said it looks like me. I don't agree with that."
