Croydon NHS Trust is opening its doors to the public by holding a special open day today.

The event at Croydon University Hospital is taking please between 10am and 3pm, and will incorporate the official renaming of the Fanthorpe building at noon.

As well as live entertainment there will be children's treasure trails, face painting, a raffle and guided tours of various departments, including the day surgery unit where patients go for an operation, the wound clinic and the breast radiology unit.

Tours will take place throughout the day and places will need to be booked in advance.

A full timetable of the days activities will be available from the Welcome Desk located at the reception of the main entrance of the London Wing.
